Directors

Debbie Appalucci is the founder/director of Touch of Class Dance Studio, Inc. First opened in 1978 as a small, one-room facility in Upper Darby, the business now encompasses three locations, eight teaching rooms, and thousands of students. Debbie’s teaching, managerial, and business skills have come together to make Touch of Class a nationally recognized studio in the dance world. Read more …
Debi Kineeavy, Co-owner/Director of Touch of Class since 1993. Debi is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She received her early training under the direction of Debbie Apalucci and continues to study dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and also takes class from world renowned choreographers including Tyce DiIorio and Mia Michaels. Tara Liberatore, Partner, has a B.A. in Education from the University of Delaware and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Wilmington College. Tara has been dancing with Touch of Class Dance Studio since its birth, 31 years ago. In addition to teaching at Touch of Class for 20 years, she has performed and competed throughout the United States in national, award-winning dance routine. Read more . . .
Lina McMennamin, artistic director and founder of Opus 1 Contemporary Dance has been working as dancer/choreographer/teacher in the Philadelphia area for over 25 years. Lina is currently the director of the ballet and modern programs offered the Broomall and Downingtown and Folsom locations of Touch of Class Dance Studio.  Read more . . .
