Dana is originally from Peoria, IL where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at Illinois State University. While attending ISU, Dana was a 4yr member of the Redline Express Dance Team, and also danced in the Arena Football League for 3 years. She attended ProDance workshop in Las Vegas where she met Debbie Apalucci and the Sixers Dancers. Their professionalism & talent drew Dana’s attention and she knew at that very moment, this was the NBA organization in which she wanted to continue her dance career. Dana relocated to Philadelphia and became a 5 year, 2 year Captain of the Sixers Dancers.
Dana has danced back up for Jon Bon Jovi, Chubby Checker, performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and also premiered in videos of local artists. This will be Dana’s second season coaching the Sixers Jr Program.
