Debi Kineavy

Debi Kineavy, Co-owner/Director of Touch of Class since 1993. Debi is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She received her early training under the direction of Debbie Apalucci and continues to study dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and also takes  class from world renowned choreographers including Tyce DiIorio and Mia Michaels.

As a choreographer, Debi has worked with top scoring string band organizations and has been a guest choreographer for the 76ers Dance Team and Junior Dancers.  Her work has been nationally recognized at major dance competitions where she earned Platinum Awards, Best Overall Routine and High Score awards. Several of her students have been chosen to receive year long scholarships to Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Millenium in LA, and also apprenticeship positions with the touring faculty of national workshop companies.

Aside from teaching her classes in both the Broomall and Downingtown locations, Debi directs the studio’s community service “Dancertainer” program and co-directs the elite competition teams. Her knowledge of dance combined with her background in education has made her one of the most accomplished teachers in Delaware and Chester counties.  Debi lives in the Downingtown area with her husband Marty and her two children, both of whom are dancers too!
